Dr. Paul Carter Tack is a seasoned internal medicine physician with a career spanning over two decades. Since 1999, Dr. Tack has been dedicated to providing comprehensive medical care to a diverse range of patients, from teenagers to centenarians. His approach to patient care involves addressing individual concerns with clarity and empathy, ensuring that treatment plans are tailored to each patient’s unique needs and understanding.Dr. Tack’s professional journey includes Emory University Summa Cum Laude Honors, Emory University School of Medicine and a successful solo private practice at The Center for Internal Medicine in Gurnee, IL, where he has been instrumental in delivering general medical treatment for a wide spectrum of diseases.

In addition to his private practice, he has served as a hospitalist at prestigious medical facilities, including Condell Medical Center, St. Therese Hospital, Lutheran General Hospital, and Bellville Hospital.His educational background is marked by a Fellowship in Infectious Diseases at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and a Residency in Internal Medicine at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center. Dr. Tack’s research contributions, such as a study published in the Journal of American Medical Association, demonstrate his commitment to advancing medical knowledge and improving patient outcomes. Dr. Tack is a lifelong learner and actively engages in professional development opportunities.

He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine and holds a State of Illinois Medical License. Dr. Tack’s dedication to ongoing education is evident through his membership in the American Medical Association and participation in specialized courses like the Blackburn Course in Obesity at Harvard University.In his spare time, Dr. Tack enjoys staying active and spending time with his family. He is passionate about delivering quality healthcare, fostering patient relationships, and contributing to the medical community through his expertise and research endeavors.
